Definition

Determines whether the system calculates the Magnitude and the Classification for a value of the Deficiency Type automatically for the deficiency analysis.

Use

You set the indicator for deficiency types whose damage potential can be measured financially.

Dependencies

When you set the indicator, the system performs the calculation as follows:

• The system uses the damage potential entered by you in the deficiency analysis and the threshold values defined for the deficiency analysis to calculate the Magnitude.
• The system uses the determined magnitude and the probability entered in the deficiency analysis to calculate the Classification.

If you do not set the indicator, then you have to select a value for the Magnitude attribute in the deficiency analysis. The system uses this value to determine the classification on the basis of the Assignment of Magnitude to Classification attribute.
