Definition

The system supports the following types of grace periods to enable you to modify the determined due date.

  1. Calendar days: You may add as many days to the creditor's due date as are shown under Number of grace periods, weekends not included.
  2. Half months: Due dates that fall before the 15th of the month are extended to the 15th of the following month. Due dates after the 15th, but before the end of the month are extended to the end of the month.
  3. Full months: Any due date in the month is extended to the end of the month.

Calendar days for the first two months of a quarter: The number of respective calendar days is simply added to the first two months of a quarter.

Example

If the due date is May 10 1995:

  1. 5 calendar days (5/A): New due date 15.05.1995
  2. 5 workdays (5/B): New due date 17.05.1995
  3. 1 half month (1/C): New due date 15.05.1995
  4. 2 half months (2/C): New due date 31.05.1995
  5. 3 half months (3/C): New due date 15.06.1995
  6. 4 half months (4/C): New due date 30.06.1995
  7. 1 full month (1/D): New due date 31.05.1995
  8. 2 full months (1/D): New due date 30.06.1995
  9. 5 cal.days/2M (5/E): New due date 15.05.1995
