Definition
Determines whether and how payment plan items are smoothed. The amount that results from smoothing can differ from the payment plan item defined for the insurance object, dependent on your settings.
Use
You can make the following settings:
- Smoothing can not change a payment plan item: A payment plan item is completely distributed to the payment plan subitems. Differences, which would result from the total for the payment plan subitems and the payment plan item, are cleared with the first or the last payment plan subitem. In this case, a smoothing basis does not have to be set.
- Round payment plan subitems: The payment plan subitems are rounded up and down, according to the smoothing basis.
- Round payment plan subitems down: The payment plan subitems are always rounded down, according to the smoothing basis.
- Round payment plan subitems up: The payment plan subitems are always rounded up, according to the smoothing basis.
