Documentation
Definition
Contains the gross single holiday pay amount the employee received from his previous employer when he left the company. This amount is mentioned on the holiday certificate.
Use
The new employer can legally deduct this single holiday pay from the employee's salary. This is called a single holiday pay settlement. In return, the employee is paid a normal salary when he takes one or more vacation days at his new employment.
