Documentation
Definition
The geographical unit is used for the physical (spatial) definition of all objects used in IS-M/SD that are delimited with regard to space. These are the following objects:
- Carrier routes
- Organizational units
The physical scope of the geographical unit is described in terms of its relationship to the postal structure (cities, postal codes, streets and sections of streets).
The geographical unit contains other descriptive data in addition to this spatial information.
