Documentation
Definition
Note the following regarding the validity of ATV (section 39, paragraph 1): If an employee
- Has not reached the age of 55 by December 31, 2001
- Has taken out a voluntary insurance policy
- Has received remuneration exceeding the BAT/BAT-O I limit from 2002 onwards only
the employer must make an additional contribution to the voluntary insurance for the part of the remuneration that exceeds this limit.
Use
A contract model containing a relevant Customizing module for AVmG must be assigned to the employee so that an additional contribution can be paid to his or her voluntary insurance policy. A value of 8% (as at 2002) must also be defined in this module. In the payroll run, the portion of the remuneration liable for supplementary pension that exceeds the BAT/BAT-O I limit is defined in wage type /2C0. This wage type can, therefore, be used as a base wage type for the module. Wage type /2C1 is to be used as the statement wage type.
Dependencies
A corresponding module must be configured in Customizing for AVmG and used in a contract model. This model must be assigned to the employee concerned in infotype 699 for voluntary insurance.
