Definition
If the remuneration liable to supplementary pension contributions exceeds the BAT I (VKA) threshold for a childless, married salaried employee, an additional contribution has to be paid in compulsory insurance if the employee in question already exceeded the corresponding BAT I threshold (Sec. 39 Par. 2 ATV and Sec. 38 ATV-K) on 31.12.2001 and 01.01.2002. To specify whether the additional contributions have to be paid, use the "Additional Contribution from 2002" checkbox in infotype 51.
