Treasury and Risk Management Transaction Manager
Reporting for a given date / evaluation of positions for the key date
During the valuation, the system compares the difference between the exchange rates purchase currency / local currency on the contract date with the difference on the valuation key date.
The resulting difference is indicated by the component spot valuation, purchase currency.
Note
This key figure is only relevant for the foreign exchange module within the Treasury and Risk Management Transaction Manager.
By contrast, the key figure spot valuation, purchase currency, simulation contains the fictitious difference that would have resulted if a spot valuation had been carried out on the valuation key date.
Note
This key figure is only relevant for the foreign exchange module within the CFM Transaction Manager.
This key figure is shown in the specified display currency, which may differ from the original currency (currency of the company code, position currency, borrowing/sale currency, investment purchase currency, and so on). If this is the case, the currency is translated using the translation type specified in the selection screen.
The default translation type is "001", with currency translation at the middle rate and today as the key date. However, you can define and use your own translation type.
The amount in position currency is used as the basis for translating this key figure into the display currency.
