Definition

The rate calculation indicator controls how the fair value is calculated in position value for securities.

If the indictor is filled, the logical database or the program determines the fair value in position currency for securities with regard to the indicator entered. If this indicator is not filled, the indicator maintained in the company code additional data for calculating the fair value is used. This means that the fair value in position currency for securities can be calculated with an indicator that differs from the company code additional data.

You create the rate calculation indicator in Customizing for Basic Functions by choosing Define Calculation Indicator.
