Definition

You can set the subsequent day assignment indicator if you want an attendance or absence reason to be assigned to the subsequent day. If an attendance or absence reason flagged with this indicator has been recorded for a clock-in or clock-out, the system generates a full-day attendance/absence record for the next day. The condition is that the the assigned attendance/absence type is allowed to be a full-day record (i.e. its maximum duration in table T554s must be at least one day).

Example: Employees can indicate at the terminal that they intend to use up flextime credit by taking leave the next day. This is done by specifying an attendance/absence reason to which the type 'Flextime offset' and the subsequent day indicator have been assigned.
