Remodification of distributions allowed
Use
When merchandise distribution is modified a complete remodification regarding the undelivered goods receipt quantities takes place. There is a danger (especially with the 'Background Modification' via WF51) that the results of any earlier (manual) modification runs are overwritten (unnoticed) as long as these quantities have not been delivered.
Delivered quantities generally are no longer accessible for distribution modifications - the goods receipt quantity that is to be distributed is reduced to the quantity that has already been delivered.
To avoid this danger in "Background Modifications" (WF51), only those distribution items are accessed for modification that have no open delivery quantities. No items are selected that were assigned quantities in a modification run but were not yet delivered.
If you want a completely new modification of the selected distributions so that items are added to the modification that still have 'open' quantities for delivery, you must set the Kennzeichen 'New Modification' on the initial screen of transaction WF51.
For this reason, any earlier modification results may be explicitly overwritten for partially modified distributions. You may want to do this if, for example, the quantity available for distribution has been changed by cancellations or by other goods receipts.
