Definition
The offset determines the position from which a field is printed. Please note the following:
- The offset for a field always starts with 00. If the offset is 01, the field will only be printed from the second position.
- The offset of a field and the output length must always be less than or equal to the maximum field length.
- You can only enter a value in the Offset at printing field if the field in the accompanying table field is a character field.
If you do not enter a value, the system uses the value 00.
