Definition

Defines the transaction status of a financial object.

Use

The status is set by the user as part of external data transfer. The following statuses are permitted:

  • New
  • Changed
  • Deleted - the financial object is no longer active from a particular point in time onwards
  • Reversed - the transaction is canceled

The status field is used to trigger the following functions in the data transfer:

  • For financial objects with the status 'deleted', the system does not trigger costing.
  • The system does not recost reversed financial objects in Profitability Analysis. The system also reverses the results for financial objects that have been costed and then reversed.
  • New financial objects can include transactions whose term start dates fall before the productive start date of SAP Banking. For financial objects with the status 'new', a year and period for which costing of the financial object has already been carried out can be transferred. This does not apply to financial objects with any of the other statuses.
