Definition

Defines the end date of an interval that is generated from the specified start date.

Use

This field is used in connection with the defined start date. The start and end date create an interval for the evaluation. You can form an interval in the following ways:

• An interval is generated using the start date. This interval contains a period with a date before the date of the first action stored in the system and, therefore, is not included in the Actions infotype (0000). This interval ends on the day before the date of the first personnel action.
• An interval is generated using the start date. This interval ends on the day before the start of the evaluation period.
• A basis interval is generated using the start date. This interval ends at the end of the evaluation period.

The first variant is the default variant (Day before first personnel action for employee), since it is used most frequently.
