Definition
The external product ID is a freely choosable description of the product. It is generally advisable to choose an appropriate name that can be easily remembered.
Along with the external product ID there is also an internal product ID issued by the system.
The external product ID is used for daily business.

Use
You can use the product parameter to restrict the mass run for the account balancing to one product.
However, it is not possible to specify a product for more than one selected bank area. This is only possible if you are using a maximum of one bank area for the selection.
