Definition

Specifies the name of the job.

Use

(For jobs and remote jobs) If you do not enter a name, the system creates a name according to the program name and the variant that you have entered when you save the job. The system-created name is <Program name>/<Variant>. Note that if you change the program or variant later, the job name will not change accordingly and can, therefore, become misleading.

(For external jobs) The system searches for jobs with this name on the remote or the local system.

Example

(For jobs and remote jobs) If you enter the program FCC_TEST_REPORT and the variant SUCC but do not enter a name for the job, the system creates the name FCC_TEST_REPORT/SUCC when you save the job.
