Definition

The successor task in dependency chain is started even if the current task finishes with status "Completed with Errors".

Use

If you define a dependency between two tasks, the task defined as successor is started only if all his predecessors have the status "Completed Without Errors", "Completed with Warnings" or "Checked". If the option "Ignore errors" is selected then successors of this task are started even if this task has status "Completed with Errors". However the status "Completed with Errors" has to be set as a result of automatic background processing of this task. If the status "Completed with Errors" is set manually by the user, the successor tasks are not started.
