An ID that you can assign to tasks for tracking later
Use
You can assign a global ID to different tasks. You use the Global ID Monitor to display the tasks to which you have assigned the global ID. The global ID is useful for tracking tasks across different organizational units.
To define global IDs, use the Define Global IDs Customizing activity.
