Definition

In this field, you specify the user you want to use for creating the background jobs delivered in the Financial Closing cockpit Add-On. For more information about these background jobs, see the documentation for the Customizing activity Monitor Background Jobs.

If you have created an SAP Central Process Scheduling application by Redwood (SAP CPS) task, the user must also have authorization to connect to SAP CPS. To create a valid user for connecting to SAP CPS, enter transaction SU01 and proceed as follows:

  1. On the Logon data tab, define an alias for the user. The alias is a valid user in SAP CPS.
  2. On the Roles tab, assign the Additional Role for Redwood Communications Users (SAP_BC_REDWOOD_COMM_EXT_SDL) and the Role for Redwood Job Scheduling, Communications Users (SAP_BC_REDWOOD_COMMUNICATION) to the user.
