• You are working in Create or Change mode, and want to specify the external number of a budget structure element.
• You want to be able to select a specific budget structure element on the basis of its external number, so that you can edit it.

Examples

HR Funds and Position Management
A job is to be cut due to a budgeting rule. The external reference number used by the government for this cut is assigned to the object in question so that it can be selected on the basis of this number.
