Definition

An evaluation consists of a hierarchy of objects. Each object is assigned to an object category.

Use

The application defines all object categories that exist in your application. There are hierarchical relationships between the object categories, which are also stipulated by the application. The customer cannot define additional object categories.

The evaluated objects are displayed according to the hierarchy of the object categories in the evaluation.

The Project Management application has the following object categories:

• Project definition
• Phase
• Checklist
• Checklist item
• Task
• Object link

The Project Management application defines the rules which are valid for the hierarchical relationship of these object categories:

• A phase is always below a project definition.
• Below a phase there can be one or more than one tasks and checklists, but no checklist items.
• An object link can exist below all other object categories.
