Documentation
Definition
This date defines the period for which a statement is created. Since the duration of the period is predefined, you must enter only one date; the system then calculates the start date.
The date can be calculated in several ways:
- If you do not enter an end date, the system automatically uses the date of the last payroll period.
- If you enter an end date, the system uses this date. It can be any day of the month. The system always replaces this date by the last day of the month.
Please note:
- A separate screen is displayed for statements with category K or M; on this screen, choose an appropriate absence record. The system determines the end date from this record. You may not overwrite the end date manually.
- The end date may not be after the last payroll period. If it is, the system automatically changes it to the date of the last payroll period.
