Definition
Controls whether a case is created automatically via error messages in the application log or manually. You have the following options:
- Manual
- Simple rule
- Complex condition
- Business Add-In (BAdI)
Use
If youwant to create clarification cases automatically using option 2 or 3, you have to assign the messages relevant for the clarification case to the case category in the message pool. Using the simple rule (option 2), the system only checks whether messages appear. However, you can also formulate complex conditions (option 3) based on all attributes of the business objects or field values that appear in the messages of the message pool. If this is not sufficient, you can use Business Add-In method DETERMINE_CASE in option 4 to program your own check routine.
