Definition
When you create a business partner, an SD standard customer (suitable for the role category) with the same number is created in the background.
The customer entered in this field serves as a template. All data that is relevant for SD is copied from the customer template. Data that is available in a similar form for the business partner (such as name and address) is transferred from the business partner.
