Documentation
Definition
Start parameter of a distributed import for controlling the job distribution immediately after the start.
Use
During the specified period, the number of import jobs is reduced to exactly one import job per server. The number of import jobs is then automatically reset to the number of jobs specified in the job distribution.
If multiple conflicting import jobs on one server generate the same previously unused ABAP sources, lock-related problems will occur when accessing the database table D010SINF. This results in a considerably longer runtime for the import jobs in the initial phase. The problem can be avoided by ensuring that only one job that generates previously ungenerated ABAP sources is active for each server.
