This data element defines whether guaranteed consistent data is required, or it is not important how up-to-date the data is (key word: Buffering of table on application server).
The parameter does not determine whether data is read directly from the database (BYPASSINGBUFFER) or from the buffer.
How guaranteed consistent data is made available is the responsibility of the database access function module.
