Definition

The DEUEV indicators control the assessment of an absence subject to legal notification. The indicators are saved in the day string of payroll (table TL) and evaluated during the generation of the DEUEV notifications.

The individual indicators have the following meaning:

A, B: Absence with continued pay for the period within continued pay. For legal reporting, these times are to be treated like an attendance; there is therefore no notification.

1: Absence with continued pay for the period without continued pay. If such an absence spans over a full calendar month, a notification is generated with reason for issue #51# (suspension notification#).

C: Absence without continued pay (maternity protection). This absence also leads to a notification with reason of issue #51# if it spans at least a full calendar month.

D: Absence without continued pay (parental leave). As with the indicators '1# and 'C#, a notification is generated when a calendar month is exceeded. The reason for issue is '52# here.

I: Absence without continued pay (military/community service). As with the indicators '1', 'C' and 'D', a notification is generated when a calendar month is exceeded. The reason for issue is '53# here.

E, G: Unpaid leave. If such an absence lasts longer than a (period) month, a notification is generated with reason for issue #34# (deregistration). If the absence ends, a notification is generated with reason for issue #13# (registration for other reasons).

F: Legal strike or lock-out. As with indicators 'E# and 'G#, a notification is generated if the absence continues beyond one (period) month. The reason for issue is '35# here, but upon resumption of employment the reason for issue is #13#.

H: Expiration of benefits from the health insurer. An absence with this indicator triggers a notification with reason for issue #30# (deregistration) on the first day of absence.
