Use
If you have selected this checkbox and you select a task from the Tasks view, you can edit the task and all lower-level tasks. The task and the lower-level tasks are locked for other users.
The task type of the selected task determines the behavior of all lower-level tasks. The corresponding attribute of the task types of the lower-level tasks do not influence the behavior.
Example:
- Task 1
-- Task 1.1
--- Task 1.1.1
-- Task 1.2
--- Task 1.2.1
The corresponding attribute is set in the task type of task 1, but is not set in the task type of task 1.2 . If task 1 is selected from the Tasks view, then task 1.2.1 is also editable, regardless of the attribute of the task type of task 1.2.
If you have not selected this checkbox and you select a task from the Tasks view, only the task you selected is locked and can be edited. You cannot change the subtasks.
