Procedure

Creating a Business Partner

Depending upon the type of number assignment the SAP System automatically assigns the business partner number or you can enter one yourself. Furthermore you have the option of copying a number from an external system.

The grouping you select is important for the number assignment. It determines, using the number range:

• Whether the business partner number is automatically or manually assigned.
• In which interval the number must lie.
