Documentation
Definition
Groups object types into semantic units.
Use
If, for example, three different object types exist for WBS elements in the project system because there are different RFC destinations, these can be brought together in the PR (SAP PS WBS Element) group.
You can also use object types without any group information.
You can also assign a group that is not active to an object type. However, note that when you create new object links, you can only use active object types from active groups or active object types that are not assigned to a group.
Dependencies
You can create your own groups in addition to the object type groups supplied with the system, if required.
