Supplementary Documentation - DPR_TV_HOURS_PER_DAY0001

Use

The enhanced distribution enables you to distribute total demand for roles and staffing for a role over different periods. You can also add or subtract the total demand. You can enter Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) as the unit of the total demand. If you do this, the system uses the hours per day information to convert the Full-Time Equivalent unit into concrete demand.

Staffing also contains information about the availability of the business partner. The system also uses the hours per day information to calculate the availability values.

The value for hours per day is determined in the following order:

  • Role:
    1. From the location of the role
    2. From the value entered here
  • Staffing:
    1. From the availability of the business partner provided that the business partner is not a placeholder or an external business partner
    2. From the location of the business partner provided that the business partner is not a placeholder or an external business partner
    3. From the location of the role
    4. From the value entered here
