Use
If you have selected this checkbox, and you select in the Checklist Item view a checklist item whose parent is a checklist of this checklist type, you can edit the checklist item and all lower-level tasks. The checklist item and the lower-level tasks are then locked for other users.
The checklist type of the parent checklist determines the behavior of all lower-level tasks. The corresponding attributes of the task types of the lower-level tasks do not influence the behavior.
Example:
- Checklist 1
-- Checklist Item 1
--- Task 1
---- Task 1.1
The corresponding attribute is set in the checklist type of Checklist 1, but is not set in the task type of Task 1. If Checklist Item 1 is selected in the Checklist Item view, then Task 1 and Task 1.1 are also editable, regardless of the attribute of their corresponding task type.
If you have not selected this checkbox and you select a checklist item in the Checklist Item view, only the checklist item you selected is locked for other users and can be edited by you. You cannot change the tasks below the checklist item.
