Description
Entering a waiting period is only useful in connection with the Conditions for AbsType (REQIR) field in this table.
Dependencies
In connection with this, take note of the two tables Using Absence Types (T5A4G) and Absence Types with Special Meanings (T5A4I). These tables contain absence types that are not allowed to occur during this waiting period as well as the symbol used in the Personal Absences Calendar if this condition is not met.

Description
An employee is only entitled to pay if, at the start of the absence, he or she has been employed longer than the prescribed waiting period.
If this is not the case, the employee is not entitled to continued pay for the length of the absence.
