Definition

Starting period for printing detailed periods

Use

When reporting detailed periods, an amount for a specific date, month, quarter or year must be provided. Here you specify at which number the detailed periods should start to be printed.

Example

On schedule B of the Federal Tax Form 941, the daily tax liability is reported within a quarter. You therefore have three fields with 31 days each.

The tax form field which reports the tax liability of

• Day 1 of month 1 of the quarter has the detailed period 001
• Day 1 of month 2 of the quarter has the detailed period 032, because this is the 32th day of the quarter

In this case, you would define two tax form fields, T001 and T032. T001 starts with detailed period 001, and T032 starts with detailed period 032, the first day of the second month.
