Definition

There are various methods for deleting data. The system selects automatically the most appropriate method based on the amount of data that you have selected for deletion. If the number of data records that you want to delete is only small, the system deletes them from the table directly. Otherwise, the system constructs a new table containing only the remaining records that you did not want to delete.

If you select this function, the system uses parallel processes to reconstruct the fact table or the DataStore object table. The degree of parallelism is determined automatically.
