Definition

Use of the field starting April 1st, 2003:

The #slide zone# indicator specifies whether the employee works in the low-wage sector, for which the slide zone rule applies. When using the slide zone rule, the employee pays only a reduced portion of the contribution to the complete social insurance contribution.

The indicator has the following specifications:

  • 0 - no slide zone or waiver of use of the slide zone rule in the statutory pension insurance fund
  • 1 - slide zone; actual remuneration is within the slide zone in all remuneration payroll periods
  • 2 - partial slide zone; the notification period includes both remuneration payroll periods with actual remuneration within the slide zone and remuneration payroll periods with actual remuneration outside of the slide zone

The slide zone indicator is set only in the pay notifications (deregistrations). For registrations, it always has the value 0.

Use of the field until March 31st, 2003:

This field marks a DEUEV control notification (registration without presentation of the pension insurance number).
