If the parameter is marked, the report reads the master data that was valid after the end of the last payroll and includes this data in the notification generation. It is possible in this way for change notifications (contribution group, health insurer, personnel group key, etc.) to be recognized earlier.
This procedure has the following disadvantages, however:
- The messages generated have more of a #preliminary# character until payroll has occurred.
- This can lead to false change notifications due to contribution group change if an employee reaches retirement age in the month of the last payroll. In this case, payroll namely converts the contribution group of the employee automatically, resulting in two change notifications:
- At the beginning of the month, the correct change of contribution group because the retirement age has been reached.
- At the end of the month, a false change notification, since the old contribution group is still in the master data, meaning that the contribution group changes again in comparison to the status of the last payroll.
If you use the parameter Read master data, ensure that before payroll is run for the month, the correct contribution group is specified in the master data for employees that reach retirement age in the payroll period.
