Definition
This flag controls whether the system checks follow-up/replacement relationships for two-step cycles between original material and follow-up/replacement material and whether a message is displayed.
Use
The following values are possible:
- Error
If a two-step cycle exists, the system displays an error message and does not save the follow-up/replacement material relationship.
- Warning
If a two-step cycle exists, the system displays a warning message, but saves the follow-up/replacement material relationship.
- No check
You cannot create any other values.
A two-step cycle exists when the follow-up/replacement material in a follow-up/replacement material relationship is the original material in a second follow-up/replacement material relationship, and in turn, the follow-up/replacement material of this second follow-up/replacement material relationship is the original material of the first. In addition, both relationships have to have the same follow-up category number.
Example of a two-step cycle:
Follow-up/repl. material relationship 1 Original material: 1000
Follow-up/repl. material: 2000
Follow-up category number: 01
Follow-up/repl. material relationship 2 Original material: 2000
Follow-up/repl. material: 1000
Follow-up category number: 01
