Definition
Determines if the chat transcript for the current interaction is saved.
Use
You have the following options for saving the chat transcript:
- Automatically
All chat transcripts are saved when agents select Leave. The Save button is not enabled on the chat screen.
- Manually
A Save button is enabled on the chat screen. Agents must select this button any time during the interaction to initiate the save. The system saves the text when agents select Leave, which ends the chat session, to ensure that the whole transcript is saved.
- Do not save
None of the transcripts are saved. A Save button is not enabled on the chat screen.
