Documentation
Definition
Variable in the code and in Customizing that points to the current logical system. Logical systems point to RFC destinations which enable access to other systems. You use this variable when you define launch transactions in Customizing for the WebClient UI Framework.
Dependencies
You define mapped logical systems in Define Transaction Launcher Logical Systems and URLs.
The RFC destination must allow users to access the remote system without asking for logon data. The remote system is accessed in cases where it is not possible to show the logon screen, such as during the runtime generation of launch transactions and the data transfer into the activity clipboard.
You can enter any name for the mapped logical system. However, you cannot delete or change the name.
