Definition
An HR payee type defines a category of HR payees. Payees can be classifed in the following manner:
Country independent types:
1 Other payee(s)
2 Tax payee(s)
3 Benefit payee(s) (V0 split type 'B')
4 Garnishment and Child Support payee(s) (V0 split type 'G')
Country specific types:
US only
5 Other payee(s) (ZIP Code)
6 Other payee(s) (Org. assignment)
CA only
7 Other payee(s) (V0 split type = 'T')
8 Workers Compensation payee(s)
An HR payee type enables you to delimit individual HR payees according to the above criteria and constitutes an element within HR payee identification. You must always use this field in conjunction with the HR payee number.
Example
Assign garnishment payees to the Garnishment and Child Support payee(s) type, tax authorities to the Tax payee(s) type, etc.
