Documentation

Definition

Specifies how many payment plan items are to be displayed for an insurance object.

Use

This restriction is especially useful for an insurance object-partner relationship for which many payment plan items have been defined, shortening the call-up time and improving system performance.

Note

Ensure that the Completely Hide Payment Plan and Payment Plan Items flag is not set, as this option takes priority.

Dependencies

In the Implementation Guide, you can define default values for this setting (see Collections/Disbursements -> Technical Settings ->Define Default Values for Insurance Object Dialog).

The system selected the payment plan items for display with the following schema:

The system displays non-archived PPIs before archived PPIs and structures the display for both groups dependent on the validity date for the PPI:

  1. The system date is between the valid-from and valid-to dates for each PPI.

The system displays the current PPIs field, sorted in ascending order according to the valid-from date.

  2. The system date is earlier than the valid-from date for each PPI.

After the current PPI, the system displays future PPIs, sorted in ascending order according to the valid-from date.

  3. The system date is later than the valid-from date for each PPI.

The system display past PPIs last, sorted in descending order according to the valid-from date.
