Definition

Key for a business partner, that replaces the original business partner for the purposes of recipient determination, or is used as an additional correspondence recipient.

Use

When correspondence creation is executed, a check is made on the master data to see whether alternative or additional correspondence recipients have been defined.
These correspondence recipients can be defined as follows:

• By specifying the business partner
• By using a calculation formula
In this case, the defined activity determines the calculation formula to be used.
A function module is assigned to the activity in Customizing.

Example

A customer wants correspondence to be sent to another business partner.

In this case, the other business partner is entered as the correspondence recipient.
