Definition

Basis of business customizing within the accounting components (Accounting Engine, General Ledger, Financial Inventory Ledger). The accounting system references a data basis whose characteristic set the accounting system uses for least some of its characteristics. It is a mandatory transfer parameter in the interfaces - with the exception of the business transaction interface - while the data basis itself is not visible.

Use

The generated transaction data structures (documents, totals) are generated specifically for the accounting system.

After the business transaction data (prima notas) is transferred to the Accounting Engine, the system determines the affected accounting systems from the input information of the calling interface (provided the accounting system is not already transferred to the interface with the valuated business transactions).

Dependencies

Because of the unique reference of the accounting system, a data basis can always be derived from it.
