Definition

GUID that uniquely identifies the reference document in the SAP system

Use

The SAP system generates the payment transaction reference GUID (REFERENCE_GUID) and saves it as part of the reference document before the INITIATE_TRANSACTION BAdI method is called. We recommend that you pass the GUID to the payment service provider system unchanged and ensure that the GUID is stored in the payment service provider system as a field visible only to you, the vendor, and not to the Web shop customer.
