This field contains the value, or the amount assigned to a wage element. The amount shown may be derived from one of two sources. Either:

• from a default value set in Customizing, or
• from a manual entry made by a user

  (If the Direct Valuation indicator is set for the wage element, then you must enter the amount manually).

Use

The use of this field varies according to the situation.

• If a direct evaluation is selected, use the field to assign a fixed value to the wage element.
• If a direct evaluation is not selected, the system inserts a default value.
