Definition
Specifies the key date for which eligibility based on working time (actual hours worked or planned hours) is checked in order to determine the plans to be included in a qualified beneficiary's COBRA offer.
Use
When generating the COBRA offer, the system checks eligibility to determine all COBRA-relevant plans for which a qualified beneficiary was eligible prior to the qualifying event. Eligibility based on working time is determined for those COBRA-relevant plans to which an eligibility rule with working time criteria is assigned. The employee's working time data as of the key date is used.
