Definition

Specifies the discount that must be applied on the insurance object, to regulate its value.

Use

To maintain safety discount, you must select the appropriate safety discount type. Based on this value, you can either enter safety discount as a percentage or as an amount. You can choose from three specific values:

• Default safety discount - The safety discount percentage that you have maintained in the Customizing of insurance types is set as default for the insurance object.
• Specific safety discount - Ignores the safety discount percentage entered in the Customizing and allows you to specify a safety discount percentage of your choice.
• Specific safety amount - Allows you to maintain the amount for safety discount.
