Definition
Specifies the part of the receivable that is secured in the collateral agreement - receivable links. Receivable portions are classified as first, middle and last.
Use
In the collateral agreement - receivable assignment, you assign portions of the collateral agreement to the portions of a receivable. When you assign the receivable portions, the system checks to if a receivable portion is assigned to a collateral agreement portion more than once.
Note: You can only assign middle portions of a receivable to the same collateral agreement portion more than once.
Additionally, for each receivable portion, the system performs a set of checks on the upper limit and lower limit of the assignment. This is to ensure that part of the collateral value is not assigned to the same receivable portion more than once.

Dependencies
Each receivable can have only one first and last portions but multiple middle portions.
For the middle portions, you can specify the reference receivable amount or percentage. The system uses these values to determine the secured receivable amount for the middle portions.
