Definition

Specifies in percentage terms, the value of the asset (collateral object) which is used in internal collateral processes, such as calculations.

Use

This value is used internally to calculate the assessment value of the collateral agreement, in the scenario where the valuation type for the collateral agreement type is set to Percentage asset value. The following possibilities exist in the calculation of assessment value using the valuation type Percentage asset value :

  • If the asset part amount is entered, then :

Assessment value = minimum of (lending value) AND (asset part amount) * percentage of asset value

  • If the asset part percentage is specified:

Assessment value = asset part percentage * lending value * percentage of asset value

  • If there are no charges or the asset part amount or percentage are not specified :

Assessment value = lending value * percentage of asset value
